I live in a new house that has 7 acres of woods in the rear area. I've been told it will never be developed as it has a swamp in the center. In the wee hours I had let my dog out to go potty. He came running back to me scared, and we both stood there listening to the most horrible sounds I have ever heard in my life. It sounded like someone was being skinned alive! I wanted to go to this person, but the area is full of thick brush. I yelled ''I'll go get help,'' and then went in my house. I was going to call the police but realized it would sound crazy. I feel I was hearing sounds from another place in time.

There is a house on Kirkman Lane in Fairhope that is very actively haunted. You can hear footsteps and banging upstairs night and day. Doors slam and open on their own. Things move when no one is near them.

A solid black shadow of a man in a long duster type coat has been seen. Beautiful home but very scary.

Comment by Margie: This house is truly haunted. I stayed there 1 night visiting a friend and will never go again. It is an evil spirit in that house. Ghost hunters need to go there and don't forget to take your priest .
Comment by Suzie: I stayed there with a friend one night also. It was very disturbing. This is a very evil ghost and when it is present the room becomes ice cold. There are indeed slamming doors and pictures on the wall move by themselves.
This ghost is dangerous. It also made some of them very sick. Yes a priest does need to visit this house and get rid of the ghost before someone gets hurt there.
Comment by anonymous: Please stay away from that place because I lived there and can tell you that it is so true! I was so freaked out and wanted to never go back because it made my dog very sick and my child! I would say for sure it's a demon! I am so thankful that my family made it out of that house! I never believed in those kind of things until now! If you don't believe go stay at Kirkman Lane!.
