The story goes that around the turn of the century, a man, a woman, and their little girl lived in this house. The little girl was an only child, so she had to play by herself most of the time. Her mother and father smiled because she now had the playmate that she had always wanted. She took the puppy into her bedroom and played with him the rest of the evening.
When it was time to go to bed, her mother heard the little girl scream. She ran into the room and found her daughter sitting on the floor holding her hand.
