In the small town of Gadsden, Al & up on the mountain above once lived a witch on Hinds Road in a tiny shack deep in the woods who went by the name Torbit (or so I have been told. ) It is a clear fact she sold her soul to the devil. her, they lived in fear. For years she terrorized the town's people, especially the children who took dares to travel up the mountain in search of her

& it is said she would kill them, drink & bathe in their blood to keep her young & then, decorate the outside of her shack with their bones. For years children went missing, and yet the adults were too afraid to venture up the mountain in search of them. In 1939 the mayor sent a group of men up to get her and what they found terrorized them, scarring them for life. The pond that lay down the road from her shack was filled with blood, and body parts
