There were no animals in there that we were aware of a very small barred window had some light pouring through and we saw no shadows, but once the sound started we felt a ominous presence and quickly made our way back to the entrance where my mom and fiancÚ were waiting for us.
No one else was there to make that noise... There was some spiritual activity.

When you're driving down ft. Morgan road, late at night, you will notice shadows walking across the road. You may get a cold chill going down that long stretch of road at night. If your fishing on the beach behind the fort at night, you can hear whispers and see ghosts of different sorts.
One in particular is that of looks like to be a woman in a dress with an umbrella (closed) , when you see it , it disappears. There is a violent ghost that haunts the actual fort itself. When me and my husband was walking back to our truck on the beach from a fishing trip, we had a eerie feeling that we were being watched.|
We saw dark shadows far behind us down the beach, but nobody was there.
