One morning I saw a rebel soldier outside my window and he fell as if to say he was shot in the war. Then he waved and Marched away musket in hand.

One afternoon in our kitchen I took a picture of my youngest daughter. I zoomed to look at her closely when I noticed something reflecting in a bathroom mirror so I zoomed closer and in the mirror looked to be a soldier in a wide hat and he was smiling and on the other side appeared a black woman wearing a head wrap and two small children.

Many mornings I hear a voice in my ear saying wendy get up and my husband says it wasn't him.
