Our family purchased a house built in 1879 on Highway Nine in Millerville, Alabama two years ago. The first night we stayed in the house we heard a loud banging sound coming from the back door. When we approached the area where the banging sound was coming from we observed the back door was open all the way, and it was previously locked. I secured the door and double checked to be sure it was secure and went back to bed. However, in a matter of less than

five minutes we had the same thing happen over again, so I put an extra lock on the same door, and the issue stopped.
We have also heard our names

called out in the kitchen area. When we looked to see who it was we didn't see anyone. We have also seen a dark figure in the shape of a tall man with a long trench coat near the floor. Our grand child is seven years old, and one day he was at our house. He asked us who the elderly man on our front porch was. When we looked toward the porch in mention there wasn't anyone there that we could see.
