I lived in Ozark for 6 years and worked for a home service company. I cannot tell you how many times I had strange things happen in customer homes. In Ozark it happen off Merrick, Sandsbury, and Byrd Circle. There are lots of haunted homes in Dale Coffee and Pike county. It has made me start studying the history of the area. It's bad when you turn and duck with your entire body going ice cold. The home owner looked at me and ask what one touched you?.

I used to live on Lake View Road. I have had so many instances. I don't care to record them all, so I'll share the most upsetting. I was choked by a set of disembodied pair of hands one night. There was a flashing light from my computer that allowed me to see somewhat. It was fairly strong! I watched the mist move through the wall. One afternoon I watched the bedroom's door handle turn and close. There was no one but me home. The door would catch on rug and required a little force to turn.
I also had to listen to footsteps all the time. I heard knocks as well, and the TV would be turning off as soon as I sat down. It is messed up and required to be turned on manually. I used to be a skeptical, and people should. I am so glad I don't live there anymore. One girlfriend I had moved us out of the bedroom we lived in and said something stayed in the attic accessible through the closet of said bedroom. Haunting started worse late. I guess some people just have a sensitivity to such things.
