At 1:30 am I received a phone call from my landlord that my front door was wide open. All my dogs were sitting outside the house. We chalked it off to kids breaking in to see if there were any power tools to take.
About two weeks after that I was in the kitchen and heard someone say my name. Thinking that a neighbor had stopped in to check on me I put down my scraping knife and went into the living room.
The front door was open but no one was in

the living room. I lived in the house by myself at this point so I know I had locked the door. I started putting things in front of the door just in case.

At night when I would go to bed I closed my door.
Many morning I would wake to the space heater being shut off and my bedroom door wide open. My floor lamp turns itself on at least once a week. In the spring of 2010 I started working on the front porch.
One night I was on the computer in my living room and saw someone walk across my front porch. I got up and opened the door and of course there wasn't anyone out there. This is now a common sight.
