I've lived in Phenix City for 20 years and there's always been a house that I've been told was haunted. I've tried my hardest to find any information on it but it seems impossible. Anyone who drives on hwy 431 will know which one I'm talking about.
It's a two story white house overlooking the highway on a hill. It's close to the river walk. I believe the address is 605 8th st but when I search the address other 8th st addresses show up. It's like it doesn't exist.

Comment by anonymous: I know which one you are talking about. It was on unsolved mysteries in the mid 1990s. I don't know about the address, but I remember traveling from Atlanta, GA back to Dothan, Al at night used to scare me. At first it looks like an orb, but the more you stare out the window passing that house it's a woman ghostly figure. I was so happy when we started traveling back home in the day time instead of at night, but I'm like you. I can't find any information. It's like it's vanished out of thin air.

I live off highway 431 and I used to have a house behind trees. My friends went behind the trees and found a shadow of a man, and a grave with a person. So the police went back there and said they didn't see anything and so my friends said they were seeing things in their house just like you. I am so terrified of this because not long after the sister of my friends was kidnapped and when they found her she was dead.
Please let me know any other information you find out. I need this please.
