I lived in Prattville for four years from 2002 to 2006 as a teenager with my family in a new house near Autauga Academy. For a span of time I would be awoken in the early hours of the morning by strange screeching and screaming. Honestly I thought it was maybe my outdoor cats fighting outside as that can be a terrifying sound. It didn't sound necessarily human. However, I was on the second story and not really within earshot of a catfight outside on

the ground. Every time I would run to the top of the stairs to listen I couldn't hear anything. I would later ask my parents if they'd heard it as their

room was on the ground floor, and they had not.
I experienced these strange noises several times usually between like 3 to 5 in the morning. One night I heard bangs along with it. Boom... Shriek... Boom... Shriek. Over and over. It was strange. I wasn't really afraid of it, but don't ask me why. It kept me awake though, so I ended up going to the playroom space to watch TV since it wouldn't let me sleep. Anyway over time these occurrences ceased.
