There is a long-standing story of the McCurdy house which sat at the crossroads where McDonald's and Taco Bell now reside. Older residents of the area talk about a man wearing a brown leather jacket that was often seen there.
There are several stories coming from the employees of both restaurants of strange happenings.. Objects moving or disappearing late at night in McDonald's. A few instances I saw firsthand were trays flying from shelves mop

buckets moving on their own a woman on the roof many heard their name called three of us actually saw the man walking in the back.
Story goes that

Mrs. McCurdy's last statements about the property were ''if anyone tears down or moves her house she would haunt the place'' one night a couple of guys were in the freezer stocking new product off the truck..
One of the guys went in and came back out and left never to return. I saw him out in town later and asked him what happened. He stated still shook from the experience that there was an older woman standing in the freezer.
