Anyone know of a house owned by 2 elderly sisters? When 1 died she put a curse on the house? There was an old vineyard located between the house and a hosiery mill in Scottsboro. The house was rented to my family in the mid to late 1920s.

I live in Scottsboro and I hear footsteps on the top of my house above my playroom all the time at night. I heard the cabinets slam shut in the middle of the night.

I heard about the ''glowing grave'' and ''cry-baby bridge'' all during my childhood and teen years and I am sorry to say I never went to see either of them especially given my subsequent experiences of seeing a ghost light at Centreville (south of Montevallo) more than eight times while I was in college.

There have been several sightings of a young beautiful woman with long flowing black hair and wearing a long gown walking down the side of the road near Goosepond Cemetery late at night. She seams dazed and if you look closely she has no face. She is very harmless.
