If you drive by the courthouse at around 3 am and look up to the tower you can sometimes see a shadow figure clinging to the spire on top of the tower. The reason for that is that in about 1850 or so a man on trial managed to escape and get up on the roof. They had the building surrounded and there was nowhere to run and for some reason, panic perhaps, he climbed up on the spire and then fell down to his death.

the form of this shadow figure clinging to the spire. His crime was petty and he probably would have gotten off with a few weeks jail time, maybe he's

angry about doing such a stupid thing and that's why he's a ghost now.
