Jake was a flagman on the train he carried a lantern somehow his head got cut off now he carry a lantern looking for his head. This was told to me by an old Sunflower man and I have seen it myself many times. Something is up there and it's not a train. Submitted by Mary

It's real. If you go to Sunflower Road off of 43, park at the train tracks, walk down the tracks to the bridge, stand there, and call jakes name, you will see a lantern looking light down the tracks. The light glows then turns red and disappears.

Comment by Nikki: This one is real. I've been to a few that are just tall tales but Jake does show up. He actually scratched my daughter. Does anyone know the back story on Jake? Like what happened to him and why he haunts that spot? We've heard multiple stories, but nobody seems to know for sure.

The ghost stories are no lies, the light at the train track. I'm from there; I do know and have seen it for myself. Go there and see it for yourself!.
