I walk every evening for an hour before dark. Usually my daughter will go with me. The night of July 30th, 2022 she did not. At 7:45 p.m. I looked down at the track because my neck hurt. When I looked up a boy was sitting in a chair to the right of the basketball court. There are no trees on the playground or the basketball court or the track. I had a clear view, and being alone I am hyper vigilant. Nobody was walking around or near the chair before he appeared.

Something about him made me pretend he was not there.
As I turned the curve of the track, I kept my eye on him and tried not to turn my head, but

I felt him behind me before I heard his footsteps on the grass just to the left of me. I thought maybe he wanted to walk the track too, so I moved to the inside lane, but he remained on the grass, so I looked out of the corner of my eye, and he continued to keep pace but remained just there. Then as we came closer to where my car was, I thought maybe he was going to take it and kept walking straight so as to remain downhill from the parking lot. He
