I'm not from Town Creek but I know there's a ghost in the creek that runs through the town. Where the creek flows under the town to be exact. They've built on top of the creek and the creek flows underground for a while.
Well under there is where the ghost is. If you go down there and throw a rock into the hole it will come shooting out at very high speed in the other end. You need to be two people at least to check it out of course.

throw rocks back and forth to each other. It's impossible to throw a rock through the passage plus it speeds up and comes out much faster than it went

in. You can try all you want to find a scientific explanation but there isn't one.
It's a ghost!.

While driving north on Hwy 101 barely in the city limits of Town Creek prior to daylight a shadow figure walked in front of my car as appearing to go to their mailbox. I slowed down and put on my brakes. When I approached the mailbox to see who was out so very early going to their mailbox. No one was there. I continued to drive when it actually occurred to me. That figure wasn't there? Immediately cold chills ran down my spine. I have tried to rationalize the situation, and I was hoping someone else might have an experience to shed some light on what happened.
