We were wondering (as we have hiked around the general areas in the woods and gravesites in the ''Townley'' area) if anyone knows or could give us information on the exact location of the two old (haunted) jails?.

The old jail cell in Townley is very very haunted! Me and 3 friends went out ghost hunting one night and that was the 2cd place we went to. While we were standing inside the lower level where the 2 cells are located we heard a sound like chains clinking together right behind us and beside us.

And our ghost tracker we were using showed all these red orbs that kept popping up all around us. We took a pic looking in the doorway from outside and nothing but darkness to our eyes but on the pic you can see something floating in the doorway almost to the ceiling and glowing-looks like bars.

Right before we left only one of us was in the room and something made a sound like it slammed the door on her. We left after that because it was getting to be to much and a lot more stuff was starting to happen.
But the old jail in Townley Al is very haunted!!.

Comment by James: My grandfather lived in the old jail for many years. Died at the age of 94. Maybe he was just having a little fun.
