A few years ago I was out playing in my yard. It began to rain, so me and my neighbors ran for shelter in the shed. They were busy looking around in there while I looked outside. I saw this white figure, and it seemed to have on a cloak, and one of those scythe things. It floated slowly into one of the paths in the woods. It fascinated me as well as terrified me. I haven't seen anything like it since.

I'm not one for supernatural, and I tend not to think about it too much. However, about a week ago my friend and I were driving to his trailer from mine going down Jack Williams Road. If you don't know where this is, that's quite alright, and I'd like to not give more of a location anyway. It was just after twilight. As we were going around a curb a big, dark, brown blanket like object threw itself at my windshield and would've covered the right half of it, had I not swerved to the left. It was very tall, and because I thought I had seen something in my head or a reflection of something, I didn't mention it. My friend, however, whipped his head around and whispered ''did you see that?! What the heck was that?!''

I slowed down and constantly kept checking my rear view and side mirrors, but nothing was there. Thoroughly spooked, we sped down the road and had no other incident. I'm mentioning this last part because I'm exceedingly curious as to what we saw that night, and I haven't found ANYTHING else about it that has been posted on the Internet. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place, but I mentioned this to my parents. My dad instantly thought I was seeing stuff, but my mom got quiet and described the exact same thing I had seen. She had seen a dark figure behind her car, but it didn't show up in the rear view mirror, while her two friends with her said that the object went through the car, and that it was wearing red running shorts.
Please do not take this offensively if you read this, because I do not drive at night anymore because of this. I've been curious as to if maybe a spirit of a man that possibly got hit by a car, or some other tragic incident, still jogs the roads at night. Yes, it is farfetched, and my hairs on the back of my neck are on end, but if I'm one out of several people who have experienced this or something similar going through Wilmer, Alabama, I'd certainly like to know more about what it is I saw that evening. Wouldn't you?.

Comment by Denise: The kkk was active in Wilmer at one time. Most likely someone they killed and the body was never found.
