As a young girl my family move into this old house in Crichton it a little town outside of Mobile Alabama I remember that after we had live there for a time my father started remodeling the inside the house I wonder why he was doing it he was closing door make it part of the wall then making a door in another part of the wall.
Now I know why he did it some time ago my old mother told me why the house was haunted by ghost she told me it start soon after we move in one morning when she was along in the house as all us kids was staying with our grandmother for a time and my father was at work she was sitting at a table in the kitchen drinking coffin when she heard a knock at the front door she got up, and walk to the door the door had a big glass in it so she could see who it was she look and saw this real old and dirty Confederate soldier standing there looking back at her she open the door to see what the old man wanted she asks him what you want?

He never said a word but pass by her that when she saw he had no arms or legs he when into of the bedrooms she ran out of the house and would not go back till some men that live never by when into the house and look around and found nothing.

I always had a funny scare feeling in that bedroom there also a real big tree next door that had to be a 100 years old it had a little house under it it was a rently house people would move in then in move out fast I ask one time why the people were moving out they said that house is haunted and scared my mother told me that they were to change the inside the house and the haunted would stop.
