When I was growing up we spent many hours fishing on Lake Wimico. We built a houseboat in the late 1960s. Kept it at the old Indian burial ground near Indian bayou. During some of our fishing / camping trips we were awakened in the middle of the night by the sound of a woman screaming. The hair would raise up on the back of my neck. We have seen moving lights that would hover over the burial grounds. I have seen human remains washed up from water erosion.

We moved the houseboat away from there in 1985 when it was damaged by hurricane Elana. That is a creepy place. Google ''haunted lake wimico''. Someone
