Haunted Cemetery. There is an old overgrown cemetery called Coker that is haunted. It is west of the river, about half way to Ona. It's in an orange grove. You have to hike in to get there. It's all grown up with weeds. The only graves that aren't crumbling and covered up are the tombstones of three little girls. The three tombstones are side by side and identical. The girls were sisters. Their family was farmers. All three girls died before they were one year old. This was 100 years ago.
The family was cursed when their mother cheated and mistreated a gypsy family that had sold them some horses and cattle. The curse was that all of the family children would die before their first year. The family died out as a result, but people who think they might be suffering a curse still go there and clean up the graves of the cursed little girls. They leave offerings at night on the graves, too, to try and lift their own curses. Some people say they have seen the little baby girls at night, dressed in their burial dresses. The toddlers' ghosts cry and plead for someone to take them home. Submitted by Marcus
