I grew up on old River Road. We had always heard the Peadon house was haunted. One night as I was driving by the peadon house around 1 it looked like there was a light on upstairs. It had been abandoned as long as I could remember, so I stopped, put it in reverse, and stopped in front of it. In the upstairs window was a woman. She looked like a corpse. Long dead. Tad bit disturbing. There's all kind of creepy stuff in the backwoods of Baker. I've had a few paranormal encounters. Btw... Someone owns the peadon house and property. Leave it alone.
