Comment by Brycen: The house I lived in was on the corner of Fourth and Minneola. One of those infamous cinder brick houses that Clermont has all over. It was the opposite corner of the Gable house. The Gable house was on the other side of the tennis court from the famous one. I don't know why we called that big old house the Gable house. I think maybe that was its name when they ran a B&B in it. It never could keep people in it. They would move in and move out just as fast.
I remember it was also a group home for a while. Just what troubled or abused youth need. It did not even last long as a group home. It's funny because the little boy in my house never bothered me much. He was just there. There was no amount of money that would get me into the Gables house. I was terrified of it. I would play tennis on the tennis courts, but I would never go near the storage building. I would only go on the shuffleboard court when the seniors were all there for their weekly tournament.

I live in the downtown area of Clermont close to the historical district. The apartments I live in used to be houses but were turned into apartments later. We moved here about 3 months ago and since then we've heard growling, banging on the doors, shadows in front of windows, and something whistling and moving things around.

Haven't seen anything ghostly like, it's just the shadows out of the corner of your eye type thing. Then there are the sleepless nights waking up all night starting at 3 and waking up every 30 minutes after that.
