It is a historic house, in the historic district. Many people that have lived in that house say they have seen a woman in a dress, wearing a bonnet at the top of the grand staircase many times. She just stands there, it is rather creepy.
But she is harmless. The next door neighbors, however; don't have a friendly ghost in their house. The ghost they have steals things, and stomps around upstairs. He takes the laundry out of the washer when it is

soaking wet and likes to throw it around the room.

My daughter moved to Fernandina Beach a few months ago with her family, and they have had quite a few paranormal experiences!! Can anyone tell me anything about her place on the beach?.

Comment by Susan: I have lived in Fernandina all of my life and I can tell you that the whole island in one way or another is haunted. It's a very old place that has changed hands many times, that's why it's called the Isle of 8 flags.
Also you mentioned that your daughter lived on the beach, there used to be 2 more blocks that that are now in the ocean due to hurricane Dora.
