My family owns a massive piece of property at the end of Dove Street off Bellamy Road. I would stay at my aunt's house from time to time, a very old house with a lean to with the separated doors (top and bottom free standing stove, old wood floors that were uneven because of the foundation, spooky in it's own right.
I slept on the couch and got up in the middle of the night to get something to drink. As soon as I got up and passed the couch something told me to look back. At the end of the couch on the side there was a black figure crouched so that it's head was flush with the couch.

I could only make out a silhouette and two eyes that seemed to be a glowing grayish blue. I froze. I couldn't speak but I could see it shift its weight as it crouched there. Just watching me. I had a complete feeling of terror like it was evil, very evil but I could not stop looking at it.

After what felt like hours but was probably a minute or so I got the courage to run past it into my aunt's room. It was not there when we came back and I never saw it again. 20 years later and I can still see the exact thing in my head and feel that same feeling, creepy!.

We lived in a trailer on Bellamy Rd for 3 years, it was surrounded by woods. While sitting outside a small framed man wearing a dark uniform walked up to the yard and kept walking right past me about 50 yards in front of me.
