About ten years ago I spent the night at a friend's house in Dean Park. His grandparents had bought this old house and were gone for the weekend, so he decided to have a party. He told us all this story about how it was built by a judge that went crazy after turning his attic into an office and killed his wife and kids in the house. There were stories of the shower curtain opening around the clawfoot bathtub while in use and cats always being uneasy

when they were inside. I thought it was just a bunch of BS to scare us. I even volunteered to sleep in the office upstairs that used to be the ''infamous'' attic. My friends woke me up in the morning to see if I wanted anything from the store. I asked them to bring me back a coffee and went back to sleep.
