In the woods east of town a murder took place in the 1940s. A man was murdered by his best friend over a woman they both liked. The murderer could not be found guilty by the court and they had to let him go.
Soon after he was set free he disappeared and later they found his dead body right where they had found his dead friend. That murder was never solved and the woods has been haunted by both of the men ever since.
