in the hallway. When I looked up no one was there. I continued to ask if someone was there and looked around, but I did not get that feeling or see anything again. This still gives me chills when I recall it. About two days later as I was exiting the gated community I saw on the billboard that there was a memorial service for ''Adele'' the lady who lived in the house before me. I think she was just checking out the house before she went on to her next home.

I lived in a small house in the back of the Indian Lake Estates community from the summer of 2012 to the spring of 2013. While I lived in this house there were so many strange occurrences that I just couldn't explain. I was a bit of an insomniac, so I was awake through the nights most of the time. And in the middle of the night, my house was a completely different place.
I guess I should say that from the very beginning I knew that I was not alone in that house. Only in the first week of living there, there were loud banging coming from the mother-in-law suite, which was vacant. I went to investigate and found there was nothing visibly wrong in the room. I stayed away from this room after this.
It wasn't long afterwards that I'd begun to hear doors slamming in the middle of the night, along with footsteps. At first I ignored them, sure that I was imagining things. And then the furniture started moving.
