In about 1967 or so I was in a vehicle with a neighbor. We were coming back from Orlando after midnight on 17-92 just past Intercession City heading for Loughman. At the bridges on Reedy Creek we saw a ghost come out of the curve ahead.
It was all a glow and the form was of a man riding a buckboard wagon with a mule pulling it. She stopped the car; we watched as it moved across the road and we just watched as it faded into the woods on the other

side.
I later verified the story with an elder in the community at the time. He said that we had seen the ghost of a man that had died in those woods
|
many many years before. And he said as a teenager he and his friends had camped many times in those woods hoping to see the ghost.
He said he had heard the story many times as a child like a legend.

Intercession City Florida only has 1 gas station in the 1980's it was called Shop and Go, a fight broke out at the register and a man was stabbed. He was killed, ever since strange things have been reported on the over night shift when the employees are locked in the store alone.
