Last night I heard a tune being whistled by what I thought was a kid walking down the dirt road I live on, in Myakka, Fl. I whistled back, and the whistler copied me and then continued whistling the weird unfamiliar tune. I said ''someone sounds happy,'' and then it responded with laughter that sounded like a teenage girl. Then it sounded like some animal was laughing. I walked to where I thought the noises were coming from. I walked towards the road and

by the pond in my front yard. The whistling and laughing stopped, and I noticed a dark round reflection in the pond water, but saw nothing that could

have caused it. Next I saw a reflection that looked like a flock of black birds took flight, but no real birds in the air. During the same moment of the reflection I heard a shrieking noise that did not sound like birds. I said out loud ''what the hell was that? The response was laughing that sounded like a girl and then like an animal. Then whistling and single claps before leaving.
