My children and I lived in a house on Old Mission that was comprised of two train cars put together forming the 'shell' of the house with the house being built over it. It was a shotgun-style house setup and kind of cool. However, from the first week of our move in I did not like or feel at ease in the kitchen. It honestly gave me a sense of dread, which was really weird since to me it's the heart of a home. I never ever felt that way before.

thought ''well, I'll clean it top to bottom and set it up, and then I'll feel better about it.'' Nope. Didn't work. I lit a white candle and did a cleansing,

prayerful intention. It felt better for a day or two. Then again I felt ominous. We also had a dog who was blind, and when we'd be sitting in the living room she'd go to this one particular spot and bark repeatedly with her back fur standing up. She would always be looking up towards the ceiling. That unnerved us, but we got used to it.
Now the (one) bathroom was at the very back of the house next to the kitchen and my teenage daughter's room.
