North Port is so much weirder than what people give it credit for. I've lived in the area for over twenty years and have had many paranormal experiences in and around my home and around the town. I live in a 1950s home close to warm Mineral Springs. We'll leave it at that for safety purposes.
I've seen shadow people walk through my backyard and a white cloaked figure that used to float by the windows of our Florida room in the middle of the day.

My son and husband have both seen a ghostly man in overalls walk through our yard as well. There is the disembodied voice of a woman who occasionally

calls out to my husband in the house. We have all heard her call for him at different times. We get touched by unseen things in the house and in the backyard.
You'll feel a hand on your back or something touch your behind. (No joke, this happened to me, my husband, and a friend who was visiting.) We've experienced objects moving sometimes right in front of our eyes, lights being turned on and off, weird noises, etc.
