apparitions appear on Biscayne heading towards Chamberlain. We've also seen dark shadows and figures cross in front of our car in some of the back roads near the North Port Devil area. If you don't know of the ''North Port Devil,'' look it up.

I moved to North Port, FL about ten years ago, and we have lived in the same house for the entire ten years since we moved to North Port. About a year after we moved in strange things started happening. The very first thing that happened was tapping on our windows that seemed to be from the outside of our house. Then we started to see shadows walking around back and forth further to the door that is to get to the garage.
One night my daughter was on her bed watching television when she felt like something sat down on the bottom of her bed. She could see the covers on the bed press inward as if someone was sitting on it. There were also prints, and she could see them moving, and it was going up to where she was. She could feel the bed pushing down from the weight of the unseen thing on her bed. As it got to her, she felt like it jumped on her and was forcefully holding her down.
Then she felt it grab her neck, and it began to physically choke her to the point she wasn't able to breathe. That scared her to death. After a few minutes that she said felt like forever the unseen thing released her, and she ran into my bedroom hysterically and crying. When she told me I knew she was telling me the truth. I was lying on my bed with my feet hanging off the bed with my daughter lying beside me when I felt something rub against me as if something has touched me or bumped into me while walking by my bed.
