Okeechobee is filled with haunted sightings and even haunted places. I lived in this town for over 18 years, and I had some scary experiences. Otter Creek is a place to start, but I never knew what was in that house, but it was evil and dangerous. I was only eight years old when I was in my room one night. I was always scared of my room, so I would stay up staring at my closet for hours because I knew there was a presence there.

when I heard a frightening sound of something being thrown across the room, and I tried to run out of the room. I was abruptly stopped by two red eyes

right in my face. I remember not doing anything but stare at the glowing red eyes. The next few moments were hard to remember because I believed I went into shock, and I passed out. After that night I would sleep in my living room because I was so terrified of that room. I would only play in there in the daytime because of those red eyes.
