thinking I had escaped from her, she was already by my bedroom door. I rushed by her and woke my friend up screaming her name and she woke up just in time for her to disappear on me.
That was the only time I saw her and I hope to never see her again.

I encountered a sea ghost once in Sunnyside beach Florida. I live there about 10 years ago and once while I was trying to go to sleep during a pretty bad tropical storm that was raging outside. I was just laying there listening to the thunder etc.

And then the lights went out which startled me and I see through the living room window a figure that gave off light. Weird as it seemed I watched it walk towards the house through the window. I could see the living room window from my bedroom.

Anyway it walked closer and closer and I was just thinking who is that getting a little scared of an intruder and knowing most of the neighbors were not there during the fall and winter. I could probably not get any help if they meant to harm me.
But to my surprise the person just walked straight through the window and wall into the living room. I sat up and looked dead at them and realized that (it he) was a ghost obviously because he was dressed in what looked like an English very old like 1600's to 1700's attire and he was soaking wet, dripping water on the floor as he walked threw the living room.
He got as far as the bedroom door and I freaked out and hid under the covers and started praying to Jesus to help me and I could feel he was right next to my bed, then he patted my head and all the sudden I felt that it was not bad and I uncovered my head and looked out and he it was gone.
