I live in Turtle Lake. I never really believed in ghosts, just thought it was a bunch of superstitious nonsense. However we have a lady in white. Someone told me she is the ghost of an old tenant who was murdered here twenty years ago, I don't know.
What I do know is that I have seen her on several occasions. She walks through the parking lot past the office, then out onto the middle of the lake before disappearing. She actually moves across the top of the water until she arrives out into the middle of the lake.
I thought it was nonsense until I saw it about three months ago. I have seen the same thing about twice since. Strange thing is I have even seen her walk by residents, some smiling and waving at her not realizing she was a ghost.|
She just ignores them, walks out past the office out into the middle of the lake and vanishes. I know several people who have claimed to have seen her.

Comment by Dce2006mhs: On January 25 1986 sgt. Floyd Moore Bay Co sheriff Deputy was shot in the head in the parking lot at the ''U'' building at Turtle Lake apartments after making 10-25 Walter Grant Kyser who was robbing unlocked storage rooms.
Comment by MarkV: And what does that have to do with the encounter depicted in the story? Yea it happened but doesn't mean you blast it just for information sake. No investigations or eyewitness accounts point to his presence being around the apartments.
