Our house was built outside of historic Charlotte, off Edgewater, by the harbor. We moved into our house February 19th, 2017. The second night we moved in my husband and I were lying in our bed with our kids in the master bedroom. We were trying to get them to fall asleep, so we could put them in their beds afterwards. The TV and lights were off in the room, and our master bathroom door was open. It was quiet in the room when all of a sudden our master

bathroom door shut on its own. Trying not to freak out, my husband and I both gave each other that ''did that just happen''- look without even saying

a word, and we both ignored it.
Fast forward seven days to February 26th, my husband became ill with stomach pains. He went to the hospital where they kept him a few days and gave him medicine. They released him to come home, and eight hours after coming home, my husband's pain came back. He went back to the hospital where his colon ruptured. About three weeks after his colon ruptured and he was back home, my husband woke up in the middle of the
