Comment by JQ: This may sound strange, but it works. When I feel the negative energy of a spirit I meow (like a cat) songs in my head. For example: the 70s pop song ''popcorn''. I think it bothers said spirit, and the negativity subsides especially when repeated but really any song meowed will work. I don't know. It worked for me, and I think it's worth a shot in your case, at least fun to experiment with. Thanks for sharing your story!.

One time at night my mom was looking out the back window and saw a small girl with long dark hair wearing a white dress walk past in the reflection. Also my house was built in the late 1890s to early 1900s.

Before we moved into our house the neighborhood called it the ''haunted house''. We often hear footsteps at night. And once I saw a very tall and wide man/shadow walk through the kitchen arch way. It could not have been my father because he is not that tall and no other man lives in the house.
I'm now scared to be home alone and I don't know what to do.
