I have been living in Port Richey for 19 years and I can tell you the tree house was from me and my friends around 10 years ago, but there an interesting story about what happened to that tree house. There was an old cabin type house in those woods that me and my friends always felt uneasy around; they knocked both the buildings down over there over in the area where those crossroads on Scenic were. The story is older than some hobo; before WW2 there

was a murder of a little girl in that area and the man was taken from his house by a mob and hanged from old oak tree about 100 feet from the old cabin.

My friends and me finished our tree house and were camping out in those woods and we heard strange noises something, scared us and we left. We came back the next day, it was practically torn apart. We tried rebuilding it a few times but we got the feeling something didn't want us to be back there. I still don't go around those woods, especially don't go down Scenic Rd at night, it's always giving me the chills.
