Staying on the island. Walked to the secluded beach path around 11 pm. Was startled to someone putting their arm on my shoulder. I turned around and a tall manly shadow was behind me and vanished instantly. I ran up the path and back to the house instantly.

While on my honeymoon on Sanibel in 1984 I woke up in the middle of the night to see a young girl standing in the bedroom looking towards me. She had on a Victorian dress and had long curly dark hair.

She was soaking wet and had seaweed clinging to her. As I tried to make sense of what I was seeing she dissipated.

Comment by Rjc728: My sons saw her too about that same time in a home we had rented. Neither one spoke of it until years later when sharing ghost stories with friends. They could believe that the other had the exact memory of the encounter.

I went there at midnight and can saw a little girl. I stay in the car because from research they can hurt the living. Mabe I just got spooked but I can't help to tell.
