I would also see my very young son staring into the corner and crying. We moved and I had not seen anything for about a year, but when we moved into a different apartment in Tampa ( now with another son who was only about 4-5 months ) we set up a baby monitor because the rooms were so far apart, this was the first time we ever needed one.

wake up screaming out of nowhere for no reason.. I went into his room ( because I'm sick of it ) and simply stated '' if there is anyone in here friend or foe... Leave my son alone...I understand you may be simply checking on him but he needs his rest as well as I do... You may look upon him but please do not scare him. '' I felt a light brush against my side and have not had any issues since.
