The location is Old Seminole Heights. I live just south of the Lowry Park Zoo about half a block from the river. I've rented this place for about four years. From what I gather, it's a two-story apartment converted from either a mother-in-law or carriage house, built in 1926 behind a large bungalow built the previous year. Nothing too heinous, but I hear footsteps coming from inside while I am on the porch, and nobody else is home. The part that I live in is very small, and the footsteps feel like they are coming from my living room. This is the most frequent occurrence. Often, the blinds slam against the windows when nobody is around the windows (even the cats). A picture flew off the wall this afternoon, which prompted me to seek any form of history on the house and area. I've found next to nothing.
A couple of years ago I had experienced a ''flare up'' of occurrences here. A metallic pet dish that was sitting on the counter that divides the kitchen and living area slid off and flew across the living room one afternoon. My roommate was asleep with his bedroom door closed, and the cats were asleep on the furniture in front of me. The bowl nearly hit me in the back of the head. A few days later while I was home alone, I heard the sound of the trash can lid in the kitchen slamming multiple times, but no one was in there.

Things ceased for awhile, with only minor happenings that did not attract my attention too much. Lately they have started occurring more frequently, on a daily basis as of late. Nothing malevolent, but still pretty creepy. The picture flying off the wall was the strangest yet because it is a block of wood that is nailed directly into the wall.

Comment by Emmie: I lived on N. Boulevard about 2 blocks south of Lowry Park, and my father built the house. I know there were ghosts there! Perhaps Native Americans since it is 1/2 block from the river!.
