One of the sketchiest places in the Tampa area is that piece of land tucked behind a giant fence off of Stark Road in Seffner. While most of the property is falling apart and untouched it's still owned and somewhat operated by the people adjacent to it. They claim that it's used as ''adult training'' but who really knows. I know people who have been in there, and nothing really adds up. Most of the buildings are abandoned and boarded up, but some of them still get used, and I don't really know how to explain how they are used (since I have never gone inside the compound. )
However, there is evidence of people going in and out frequently. People claim they are full appliances and pillows and other things that seem new, which is strange seeing as the buildings are decrepit. I wouldn't encourage going in there because of dogs, sketchy neighbors, and the numerous ''No Trespassing'' signs along the fence. I have driven past it numerous times and am still puzzled about this place. It was originally used as a detention center for troubled teens. The place is now owned by a group that helps those with developmental issues. It is off of a public road but is obviously private property.

I am NOT encouraging anyone to go in this place, trespass, solicit, or bother anyone in the area. However, if your looking for a creepy place to photograph or just observe this is it. There are also numerous cemeteries in the area. Just be careful, Seffner isn't the best area.

The sketchy place off of Stark Road used to be a place where they sent bad male teens that had mental problems. I knew someone who used to teach there a long time ago. They left because the guards were selling the kids drugs and being lax with security. Then one kid escaped and broke into a neighboring house and stole and shot a gun (no one was hurt. ) Then it was shut down because of several bad crimes that were happening on the property.
