house. My parents said they felt I was old enough to start being home with my brother alone so that I could do my chores.
It was around the middle of August when I got my first big scare.
My brother and I were getting cold since the ceiling fan was on. I walked over to switch it off and it wouldn't go off. Instead it started speeding up. And at one point it was spinning so fast that we were sure it was going to fly off the ceiling. Then most of the

lights in the house started turning themselves on and off rapidly. We were really scared!
We had a portable phone and so we ran out of the house! We

called my grandpa to come get us and he did.
When our parents got off of work, we told them what had happened. My dad stayed quiet but my mom said that we needed to stop watching scary movies. We didn't really watch them though is the thing. We liked Disney movies.
So... Parents had a few days off and it helped us relax. But still the nights were always creepy.
And then something happened. I don't know exactly what but my dad immediately
