I was so dumbstruck I couldn't say anything. It walked from the TV straight over to the loveseat on the opposite wall and disappeared. I have never seen anything like it before. I managed to keep my composure gather up my kids and dog and leave before I said anything to them.
After I dropped my kids off at school I went to my in-laws for the day until my mom got off work. I wasn't going back into the house without someone with me and seeing as

how my husband was tdy for school I'd have been all alone.
It was one of the strangest encounter's of my life.

My parent's house in Crystal Lake estates always has something or other going on. The garage door that leads into the house has a doorknob that makes a funny sound when you turn it. There have been several times that you hear footsteps and then the doorknob turning.
Sometimes you hear the footsteps on the sidewalk coming up to the front door and then you hear the doorknob to the garage door turn. I had a friend who was at the house with me one afternoon before work and she freaked out and refused to ever come back to the house.
Our ceiling fan in the living room has the main lights in it and it will be on in the morning when we turned it off before bed. Things will go missing only to turn up days or weeks later in the strangest of places.
