I live in a home on Lake Howard Drive that has more than a fair share of ghosts. I have grown up around ghosts. One particular one has stayed with me for some time now. Her name is Dorothy, my grandmother's sister. She would always whisper my name in my ear. I am in my 40s now, and the presence of the ghost is more intense. Looking through photos, old and newer, I can spot them. I can feel, see, and hear them. Over the years there have been two deaths in this house, self-inflicted and natural causes. When my grandmother was in her final days I witnessed her mother coming from the pantry and going through the back door. That was my first real sighting, a full bodied apparition. I have been attacked by them in the past while I was sleeping. I have been punched in the jaw. Not able to defend myself from an unseen force sucks. I have dealt with scratches on my back, hearing them call out to me, watching a controller levitate in midair, and making my pets and myself feel very scared.
It angers me when it affects my pets, watching them stare and be afraid to eat or sleep in my room. Watching an orb appear and disappear is frightening and at the same time WOW. The ghost lets you know one way or another. They will make their presence known either by shaking your bed, sitting on your bed when you are trying to sleep, or tapping for no other reason than to let you know they are here. Not all of ghosts are bad; some are playful, and some are curious. I know about the thickness in a room or place where you feel sick to your stomach and feeling very dizzy, and you cannot wait for it go away. I have had a ghost cat curl up on my bed and vanish. There was an orb that played with my cat and sped away through the wall. I have witnessed too many things and tried to come up with a reason as to why it did what it did. I do not know everything pertaining to ghost, and I do not go around town telling people I see ghost. That is a ''no-no. '' My family knows only what I tell them; you cannot make them believe. They have to go through it and realize for themselves that this is real.

Comment by Mscher: I do believe you and all though. I have not had any real experience with this. I do know that ghosts exist. If you ever need or would like to just have someone you can talk to about that won't judge you please feel free to email me... M-schertaylor @yahoo .com.
Comment by Barbara: I have been really curious about WH history. I had a house on Ave. F SW and that house was super haunted. Our friends didn't even want to spend the night after being there one night. I have tons of pics of orbs with faces from day and night. Also pics with what looks like a haze or smoke swirling through the pics and pics if presences in a mirror. Lots of sounds like someone walking up steps, things being moved upstairs when no one was up there. A friend blessed the house when my daughter was pregnant because one of them was messing with her. It calmed it down but didn't clear it out. Many stories... Sounds crazy but true lived it. My email tamstone21994 @hotmail. com if any inquiries.
