My wife, myself, and our daughter used to live in the Park at Laurel Oaks Apartments. When our oldest was still a baby and sitting in her highchair she would sometimes look up while I was feeding her. She would smile at something she saw behind me. She would also do that when my wife and mother-in-law were feeding her. When it first happened to me I thought my mother-in-law was standing behind me, but she and my wife were still sleeping. This did not

happen until after she was born.
My wife and mother-in-law would also see shadows out of the corner of their eyes. Late at night you could hear

the sound of the kitchen cabinet door opening and closing ever so quietly. There is nothing loud and violent but a soft thump. I used to work late, so I never heard it except for one night when my wife and I were reading in bed. I knew there was no one in the kitchen because my daughter was asleep in her crib, and my mother-in-law was asleep as well. My wife looked at me and said ''that's the noise I've been hearing!''
