When I was a child I stayed in a hotel (my mom thinks it may have been in Brunswick). I woke up and saw a ghost standing in front of the dresser mirror brushing it's shoulder length hair with my hair brush.
I think it was a man because of the top hat and clothes but am not sure considering the feminine way it seemed to be admiring itself. It eventually noticed I was awake and made eye contact with me through the reflection.
I freaked out and pulled

the covers up. It was gone by the time I was brave enough to look again. Does this sounds familiar to anyone?.

I was staying at the Country inn and Suites. We were on the third floor. My wife got up early in the morning to use the bathroom. She checked on all the kids and noted that they were all in their own beds.
As she approached the bathroom using her illuminated phone screen as a makeshift flashlight she saw a child/shadow standing in the bathroom door. When she turned around to double check on our 8 year old (the shadow was about her size) she knew all the kids were in bed.
She immediately turned towards the shadow/child but the spirit had vanished.
