From the history of crime to the crooked tales of corruption from past factory spills and shut downs to deaths in high numbers I have no doubt in my mind that spirits are heavy in this town and I do believe that some evil energy feeds here.

I can remember once we lived in Brooklyn Homes. It was a bad and dangerous place to live. I remember how mean I was to my mother, and she made me think she left but later I found out she never had. I began to get very worried because there was no sign of her anywhere or what I thought. Then I heard something; it was my kitten hissing at something. Then I heard starching at the door of my room. I was hiding in fear under the cover of my bed with my phone in my hand, and I began to call my aunt to come help me and to find my mom because I did not know she was hiding. When I began to dial the number my dresser started to rock and shift directions. I was crying weakly.
Finally! My aunt answered, and I started telling her what happened. She said she would be there to help me in a minute. When I got up to get dressed I saw the dresser move and shake rapidly, so I grabbed my clothes and shoes and ran fast with my cat in one hand and hid behind the sofa talking to my aunt reassuring her that I was still okay. Shoes started to be thrown down the 12 or 13 steps as I heard footsteps walking. I started to panic in silence, ''mom? I asked. If this is not my mother you need to leave me alone. '' It was my mom walking down the stairs. I said in a shocked yet angry and happy voice, ''oh you got me. '' She told me that it was her that was scratching at my door, but when I mentioned the dresser she said no, so still to this day we have no idea who or what it was that put me in such shock.
