My husband took me to visit the building that his mom was getting ready to buy at a shopping center in the middle of Byron. We walked up so I could get a glimpse of it from the window when I saw a man standing and staring back at me with his arms crossed like he was mad.
I jumped backwards and screamed holys**t and my husband says what is it and I told him; and as he looked he saw no one. I looked back and the man was gone into thin air.

So we walked to visit a few of the other shops there too and I mentioned to another store owner what happened to me and another customer there. Said he

had grew up in Byron his whole life and heard stories of a man murdered there many years before.

If you travel west on hwy. 49 going to fort Valley you will have to cross the Mule Creek bridge this is a newer bridge the old one was haunted for years by three ghost of men who pluinged to their death after which the farm tractor they where all three riding on crash in the side on the bridge and crash on top of them in Mule Creek!.
